On 3 May 2012 Standard & Poor’s Rating Services (S&P) raised its long-term counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings on Switzerland-based Swiss Life Ltd to “A-“ from “BBB+” and its long-term counterparty credit rating on Swiss Life Holding Ltd to “BBB” from “BBB-“. The outlooks are “stable”.

Swiss Life Germany assessed by Assekurata with "A"

Swiss Life in Germany has maintained its good rating. For the forth time in succession the life insurance company achieved an overall “A” (good) rating in the client-oriented rating process of the Cologne-based rating company Assekurata.

Swiss Life scored a rating of “very good“ in the categories client orientation, security and growth and attractiveness in the market.

Swiss Life has been subjected annually to Assekurata’s sophisticated rating process since 2005.
