In what year did the Swiss Life Group change its legal form?
The transformation of Swiss Life from a mutual company to a public limited company took place in 1997, just before its 140th birthday. This change became legally effective when entered in the Commercial Register on 30 June 1997.
 
 
What was the price at which the shares were offered at that time?
Shares were distributed to all members of the mutual company free of charge. The number of shares that each received was based on the relative value of their insurance position at that time.

Questions on a shareholders' safekeeping account at Swiss Life Holding
What does the Shareholder Services department do?
The Shareholder Services department takes care of transfers of share ownership, custody account administration including account balances and changes of address for shareholders. It has all the documents relating to the shares and the information on registered shareholders at its disposal. Changes of ownership and transfers are recorded and meticulously checked.

Complete the application form for a shareholder’s safekeeping account and send it to Shareholder Services. You can download the form here to your computer and print it out.

The last AGM was held on 09 May 2006 in Zurich.
 
 
When will the next General Meeting be held?
The next AGM will take place on 08 May 2007.
 
 
How can I exercise my voting rights at the General Meeting if I can’t be there myself?
There are various possibilities:

You can appoint the management representative to act as your proxy, with full power of substitution and authorisation to approve the resolutions put forward by the Board of Directors.
You can appoint the independent voting representative to act as your proxy, with full power of substitution, in accordance with your instructions.
You can appoint a shareholder, who must be eligible to vote, to act as your proxy.
You can send your spouse, who can represent you whether or not he or she is a Swiss Life Holding shareholder as well.
