With regard to Art. 20 of the Federal Act on Stock Exchanges and Securities Trading (SESTA), the fund provider FMR LLC, with its principal address at 82 Devonshire Street, Boston, MA 02109, USA, and its direct and indirect subsidiaries informed us that they through a disposition as per 28 February 2008 directly or indirectly hold 2.99% (1 048 424 registered shares) of the voting rights of Swiss Life Holding through several managed accounts.

FMR LLC is the parent holding company of Fidelity Management & Research Company, an investment manager for US mutual funds, and Fidelity Management Trust Company, a US state chartered bank which acts as a trustee or investment manager of various pension and trust accounts.
