Swiss Life successfully launches CHF 300 million hybrid bond issue
Swiss Life Ltd has successfully issued a CHF 300 million undated subordinated bond, first callable in August 2018. The coupon has been fixed for the first five years and ten months at 5.5%. The bond has been placed with investors in the Swiss franc market. The proceeds will be used for future refinancings of outstanding subordinated debt instruments and further optimize Swiss Life's capital structure.
