We are happy to announce that Aseguradora Mundial and the Swiss Life Network can now offer employee benefit solutions for multinational companies throughout most of Central America.
This builds on the successful relationship between the Swiss Life Network and Aseguradora Mundial in Panama that has been developed over the past 20 years. During this time, both companies have established a reputation for high quality and efficient services for multinational subsidiaries operating in the country.

Central America and the Caribbean now covered
Over the past few years, Aseguradora Mundial has established operations in Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador. The company will shortly open a operation in Costa Rica. Based on their flourishing joint activities in Panama, both partners have now decided to expand their activities to Central America. Clients in Guatemala now have a choice of two Network Partners: Aseguradora Mundial and Seguros de Occidente.

“We are where you are”
The extended relationship between Grupo Mundial and the Swiss Life Network was celebrated on July 15, 2008. On this occasion, Rodrigo A. Díaz, CEO of Grupo Mundial and Margrit Schmid, Head of the Swiss Life Network, signed an agreement to extend cooperation throughout the Central American region. Nils Petterson, Honorary Consul of Switzerland, was present at the event, as were some 20 brokers and consultants and over 50 representatives from leading companies in Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Guatemala.

The Swiss Life Network has thus taken a further step in the Central American region to ensure that we are present where our customers need us, and able to serve all their needs for employee benefit solutions in Central America.
