Martin Senn, Chief Investment Officer for the Swiss Life Group and member of the Corporate Executive Board, is joining the Zurich Financial Services Group as their new Chief Investment Officer and member of the Group Executive Committee on 1 April 2006. He will continue to serve Swiss Life in his present capacity until then.

The Board of Directors and Corporate Executive Board regret the departure of Martin Senn, who has been at Swiss Life since January 2003, and thank him for his great contribution to the company's successful turnaround. Swiss Life will provide information about Martin Senn's successor at the appropriate time.
