Hans-Jürgen Wolter, Group Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary of the Swiss Life Group, is taking up a new position as member of the Management Board and Chief Risk Officer at Generali Investments S.p.A., Trieste, as of 1 April 2008 after four successful years with Swiss Life.
In connection with this change, Swiss Life is making adjustments to its Group Risk Management organisation. Thomas Müller, Group Chief Financial Officer, is additionally taking over Hans-Jürgen Wolter's function of Group Chief Risk Officer and will serve as Group Chief Financial & Risk Officer. The financial and insurance risk controlling functions will now report directly to Thomas Müller. Hansjörg Furrer, Head of Actuarial Controlling & Insurance Risk, will replace Hans-Jürgen Wolter as the Swiss Life Group's new Chief Actuary.
