At today's Annual General Meeting, SwissLife Holding Ltd's shareholders approved all the resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors. A distribution of CHF4.50 per share will be made from the capital contribution reserve. Dr.WolfBecke, a mathematician, was newly elected to the Board of Directors.
Around 1'004shareholders attended the General Meeting at the Hallenstadion in Zurich. Overall, 13.6million of the voting rights (42.33% of the share capital) were represented.
For the 2011 financial year, the Board of Directors proposed a distribution to shareholders out of the capital contribution reserve instead of a dividend payment from profit, with the payment of CHF4.50 per registered share to be made without deduction of withholding tax.
Wolf Becke was elected to the Board of Directors for a three-year term. The board members standing for re-election, Henry Peter and Frank Schnewlin, were elected for a further three-year term.
