After twelve years at SwissLife, BrunoPfister, CEO, is to follow a new career path and will be handing over leadership to PatrickFrost, the current Chief Investment Officer, on 1July2014.

"SwissLife has recorded very positive progress over the recent challenging years, has grown profitably and is well on track; the goals set as part of the Group-wide strategy 'SwissLife2015' are being systematically and successfully implemented," says Bruno Pfister, who has been with the Group since 2002, first as CFO, then as CEO International and, since 2008, as GroupCEO. "SwissLife is well positioned to play a significant role in the growing market for life and pensions and financial solutions. As our course is set, this is a good point for me to begin a new chapter in my career.”

He will be succeeded on 1July2014 by PatrickFrost who, as a long-serving Corporate Executive Board member, having joined the Board in 2006, knows SwissLife very well. PatrickFrost began his career in the mid-nineties as an analyst and subsequently as a Portfolio Manager in asset management for WinterthurGroup. After two years in the US as a Corporate Bond Manager, he was appointed Head of Fixed Income at WinterthurGroup in 2001. In 2006 he was appointed Chief Investment Officer of the SwissLifeGroup.
