Luisa Deplazes Delgado holds a law degree (lic. iur.) from the University of Geneva and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from King’s College, University of London. She also completed a postgraduate programme in European Studies in Lisbon and obtained the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma. Luisa Deplazes Delgado began her professional career in 1991 at Procter & Gamble, where she held various international management positions until 2012, including Chief HR Officer Western Europe and CEO Nordic (Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway). She subsequently served as a Member of the Executive Board and Chief HR Officer of SAP SE and, from 2013 to 2018, Group CEO and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Safilo Group. Since 2018, she has been active as an investor and senior advisor, and supports companies as a CEO mentor in succession planning.
